I’ve tripled my income in the last year, and it all boils down to ONE thing I did differently starting last year: I started helping those I could help – for free – without any expectation in return, whatsoever. I made suggestions for people’s WordPress blogs, I made suggestions for copy changes/tweaks – wherever I saw a problem, I offered the solution – like sprinkling fairy dust wherever I went. I acted like I had a billion dollars in my PayPal account. Several of those people I helped became clients and several have referred multiple other clients to me, since.
You know you should write Newbie’s Nightmare. If Guru’s Dream attracted $300K, who knows what Newbie’s Nightmare will attract. Meanwhile, you’ll be helping a truckload of people break their own chains. Money’s good, but knowing you’ve made a different like that is just incredible.

Honestly, I really like this Alex Jeffreys way of speaking. It’s blunt and straightforward and easy to understand and I seriously feel I can trust what this guy has to say otherwise I’d be out a long time ago. Keep staying as real as possible.

Actually, I’m an OLD guy who’s been through the wars, but survived. Right now I have two hopes to recoup my losses from the “wars”. (Ran my own conventional business for 20 years, enabled my wife to be a stay-at-home mom till our 3 kids finished school, then ran into a business “shark” … lost everything. Broke, no pension, income below the poverty line).
Moving UP now! Hope #1 is FX market: have learned to make a small but increasing income there. Hope #2 is YOU … I like your style and no BS. During the good years my conventional marketing was very good, but now the internet is where it’s at and I need to learn!

There is so much to learn in this business and despite receiving many hundreds of emails from Guru’s over recent years,I am still in the dark about so much.
For example. An ebook in PDF is received and I would like to place it on a future website, blog or autoresponder but unless I have missed the obvious, nothing to help me achieve this. No instructions at all so it gathers dust when it could build a list or make a sale.

I have known of you for quite some time now and in fact I was unfortunate enough to miss out on the coaching program you offered me prior to Xmas last year, which I desperately wanted to be a part of, and was so p#@*ed off about it I wrote you a very blunt email to which you responded with a rather sharp toungued reply email. (no hard feelings, I probably deserved it at the time)You may or may not remember it but I really didn’t think I would strike a nerve with it and it was just an email born out of frustrated disappointment because I was hell bent on finding some mentorship at that stage.
That being said I must point out that later on you emailed me with a link to some good free information.
The reason I could not join your coaching camp is because at the time I could not afford it but you were kind enough, even though I blasted you, to send me some free stuff and I know the one problem “I HAD” at the time was, and I think many thousands of others had as well, was lack of capital/money/finances/credit.
What made it even more frustrating at the time was the fact I knew I would have $20,000+ at my disposal in the following new year but that was way too late to get in on your coaching camp.
With that money I have downloaded a heap of info products and web design software and even bought,and own, a professionally designed and built Membership Video Info Site and marketed it in every way possible, paid and free, but have made very little money so far, and the same with an advertising site I bought.
The point being that I still must be doing something Wrong, and it may be that this Nightmare Report, that you talk about on the video, is the missing link I need to make it all work.
So “Bring It On”, and the price sounds Great!…ironic really, isn’t it, that now I could afford to pay for it if there was a price on it.

My goal is to be a doer vs. just a reader. (Notice I didn’t say follower). I want to start doing more rather than just thinking it. I’d be happy to read this document that you have created. Hi Alex, sorry to be sceptical of what your going to reveal. But I thought the main things holding me back were obvious, 1). Lack of time due to a full-time job & demanding family.(only one very tired hour in the day to do anything IM,no where enough time)
2). Pure info. overload!
3). Lack of focus.(I’m always being distracted by the supposed ‘quicker route’ like PPC marketing products etc. even though I’m too scared to really try it).
If I lost my job which is looking very likely, I’d suddenly panic & try to make my former daily wage by my other intereset ‘betting’ which only works some days of course & not others.
And still requires some time to figure.
So unless Alex your gonna pay me & all your other would-be marketers a daily wage to live on, while we get on with creating our own IM businesses.
I’m struggling to see how things are going to change for us.
I know you started your Ebay ‘bike’ business while still in a job, but that success gave you the time,money & freedom to move into Info-marketing which is a far harder business to get off the ground. Yes I know ‘Dean Holland’ has done very well while still in a job, but he hasn’t got kids, & has more spare time to devote espeacially now he’s split from he’s GF.(sorry Dean)
All in all, time to build a IM business is the biggest problem. Yes or No?
I’ve still got the desire, but I’m losing the energy for this Alex.

You pose a couple very good questions to which I will try to give an honest answer.
1. Do I really want this information?
Well, yes and no! You see, I am not the one that already has the info, so I can’t say that I do want it, because I already have enough cyber door-stops to throw around. I don’t need anything else that will just clutter my computer. I am not sure what this cutting-edge information contains. Only you do. IF this information will truly help me to get to something from absolutely NOTHING, then by all means, I am interested. I don’t want an EVERYTHING DONE FOR YOU IN A BOX kind of program, I wouldn’t learn from that. I don’t mind working. Lord knows I spend 10 to 12 hours a day now just spinning my wheels because I am MISSING SOMETHING! But, if this info that you have will at least help me to make my first few hundred or even thousand dollars, then i would definitely love to have it. But, again, only you can tell me that.
So I ask you, Alex, in your big heart of hearts, would Alex Jeffreys want this info? Would this truly help ALEX to FINALLY start to earn an income online, without all the GURU B/S being tossed around?
2. – Should, or why should, you take your time that you could be focusing on those who have paid to learn from you and create something for me FOR FREE? Well, honestly, you shouldn’t. Plain and simple.
You tell me why you should.
Considering, I have just started following you recently. I have not yet purchased any of your products – not because they are not valuable, but simply because I am spent out. I have not sold any affiliate products for you that have made you any income. I have not TAUGHT YOU how to make more money online. So, again, I ask myself – Should you – or why should you – help me?
I can’t give you one single reason why you should.
So, I guess I’ll just have to let Alex Jeffreys decide for himself what will be best for his business in the long run. Will it be helping me, who he doesn’t know from Adam, and countless others like myself, who have honestly tried and failed and tried and failed again, just to get tired of being lied to by the most of the GURUS for their own personal gain, or will it be to realize that you can’t help everyone, so what’s the use trying. You have a family to support, bills to pay – why waste your time with a bunch of so-called TIRE-KICKERS that aren’t ever gonna make it. Maybe you should just get on with your coaching.
So, I guess I’ll let you decide that, Alex. You already have the upper hand on me – you have the info, I don’t.

I gave a company $5880. Wife and 3 boys and I have been trying to get this up and running. for on Jan. 14 I was laid off and have been doing my best to learn everything I can from this company. I started with just knowing how to email. I could not even put pictures on the web or attachments on emails. I have come a long way but have made no money and am fighting for everything we have now. Thanks for the video. I believe my biggest problem is getting focused on one person to train me. I seem to be inclined to purchase so many things online that turn out to be of no real value. I have spent literally thousands of dollars for product, some training, videos, scripts, PLR, MRR and reports of all kinds but I simply get lost in trying to implement them to the point of getting money. I have spent thousands but made nothing? I have several websites, no traffic, pay out for hosting, newsletters, memberships but I cannot seem to get anyone to purchase a single thing from any of my websites? So, I don’t get it. I really have the same passion that you seem to convey, I want to help others like myself that desire to get into internet marketing but I am not successful as yet.
I would like to sit one on one with my future students and show them how to setup their site, drive traffic to it, have them get real success but I lack that knowledge myself. I really am tired of getting laid off my jobs. I am currently laid off again now for 6 weeks and no job in sight. I really need one on one help as my small savings is dwendling day by day. Evening Alex,
I’m sitting here at my desk in my home office and it’s 12:00 all is dark outside and it’s about 30 degrees here in the mountains of Colorado. Night before tonight my wife and myself watched the movie the “Secret”. I know what the “Secret” is now. The universe has positives and negatives, and although I have about five websites up at this moment, I know without a doubt I will be successful. What I learned from the “Secret” is you must do three things.
1. Ask
2. Believe
3. Receive
Earlier this evening I stepped out onto my deck and asked the Universe to make me successful in all my Internet endeavors. That was about three hours ago. At about 11:20 my time I opened your email as today was Memorial day here in the states and I had not got much work done today. I read about your findings about the newbie nightmare, and although I no longer look at my self as a newbie, I still have some nightmares, but the feeling of success is in my every being. I believe without a doubt that your email was sent and I was requested by the universe to open that email. Alex I am ready to receive, are we ready to Rock and Roll I ask???

Yes please. With knowledge comes confidence. In all honesty, I have wanted to make the first step for a long time but then hold back because the money required to ‘invest’ can be spent on something more practical for the family! Maybe I just don’t want to be scammed and I am a person who really needs to trust the person I am giving my hard earned cash to.
If it’s something I believe will work, then I will put 110% into it.

Starting from the position of being an internet technophobe I have learned how to set up a website, an autoresponder etc etc and how to give information away as an inducement for visitors to join my list.
Indeed, the list of ’stuff’ and ‘techniques’ just goes on and on, yet I have still failed to get traffic and make money online.
So, like many other readers here, I want to make an income by selling something online that has real value, something that people will really benefit from and not just more get-rich-quick information.
I believe that any niche can make money – however narrow it is – IF you can offer the product to the very people who need it. And that is the difficulty most of us face. There are plenty of good products we can sell as affiliates, and yet success eludes most of us in spite of all the ‘guru’ stuff we buy.
We need help!
Do YOU have the key that will unlock the secret? I wish I could promise to buy it, but I am now broke and do not have enough credit left to pay next month’s bills, let alone money in the bank. All I can say is that I remember who my friends are – who has been kindly and who has not.
Desperation is setting in, and I’m sure that I am not alone. So I hope your advice will help. The tide must turn soon ……

Newbie’s Nightmare! I am having computer problems now and the comment I posted last night said waiting for moderation and then today it had disappeared. So I hope I get this on the list in time. I was one of your original F500 Students, but due to health circumstances, I kept getting farther behind. So I am still not making any money. I did get my blog going, but after the first post, Garry Parkes said I had to release it out of the comment moderation queue for it to work, and he would never tell me what that meant so my blog never moved any further. Later I asked your support assistant Helen what it meant, and she said it looked fine and didn’t know what that meant either. So I really need to find out what the heck that means or just forget the blog. I really hope your report will make a great turn around for me too. I really miss your classes and inspiration, so please don’t ever forget us, I will never forget you.

Hey fellow welshman. Newbies getting bombarded on a daily basis with the latest and greatest offer to sit back and lazily watch the cash flood in as they sit on their fat…chairs. It’s all very confusing and noisy…just knowing who to trust and believe is an expensive trial and error task on it’s own.
All we want is something that actually works and doesn’t get us knocked out of the ring by the heavy hitters, or suck our credit cards dry.
After wasting so much money on e-books etc. and your giving this away for FREE. I had almost given up on ever being able to make money online but after listening to your video I’m convinced it is possible. Thanks Alex you have restored my faith in the internet and humanity. A big thumbs down to all the rip off merchants out there.

Good way to secure a lot of comments, Alex…yes, people are using this “submit comment” tactic effectively. You do provide beneficial information so people will respond. Newbies face numerous challenges, technology issues being cited by many as one of the most difficult. I am interested in your opinion based on the input of your students.

At a guess, I would say this “missing piece of the puzzle” for most people is this -
1. Change your mindset from being a “fast cash” opportunity seeker to being a business builder.
2. focus on 1 scalable business in one market with 1 website.
3. Remove your personal constraints by systemizing that business and outsourcing everything that you can not do or no good at. Ie. NOT trying to do it all yourself, you can’t do that and expect to grow rapidly.

You see, I started thinking the same way you are thinking and I started my blog, putting free e-books and free stuff as much as I can. I started doing this after almost 3 years of working online and reading different e-books and going no where. I learned a lot but I did not make any money and I got tired of buying. I know there are a lot of people like me, so I decided to just start a blog with giving out free info. I don’t have my own product and I wish I could. Now please share your report and tell everyone of us about newbies nightmare. I can wait to read that.

After reading the GURUS DREAM I took your advice and inspiration from the story of Dean and set up my own blog called Internet Marketing Test Lab and have been posting some free content and also product reviews as well but still not making any moolah.
I think Newbies Nightmare now really clarifies the MARKETING vs SELLING scenario and i think i can see where i have gone wrong. I think i have provided value but…..not enough.
I would love to win a spot in your coaching programme to be able to take things to the next level. I am currently changing my thought process on this and have nearly completed two new reports for people wanting to get a website up quick and for people who want to add video to their sites.
The reports are about 50 pages and DO HAVE two or three affiliate inks with about five or six links to free resources that are complimentary to the main report.
I will be giving these away from the blog to try and help some people.

Alex, I’m quite intrigued. Just recently I made the decision to pursue Internet Marketing because of the reported money and lifestyle a lot of the top people seem to have. Hi Alex,i reed your ebook and i saw your video about Newbies Nightmare.I paid in the past a lot of money to find a good way, or system, or strategie to make money online.All was crap.I have daily hundred`s hype emails from all the gurus.That is one tipical case of owerload information.My englisch is poor, so i must strugling with this to. Reading over some of the other comments, I think I figured it out. And you already had the answer…
your approach of marketing WITH people instead of TO them, is the first step.
I believe what might be the answer is that we spend all our time marketing to the marketers, instead of selling to the customers. (or a variation of that phrase).
Looking forward to seeing your answer, which I’m sure will be part of your mentoring course, which I just joined.

Alex, late in on this but my PC is knackered so got a new one. Yes, I want this for free. I want to know what is the 1 thing that is holding me back. Its not ambition, its not a “not want to” but something is not clicking for me with this. No matter how long I spend doing this, I just cannot seem to turn the corner. Hi, I was looking at the pictures of all the famous marketers with you. I knew 90% of them from internet sales pages and ebooks,coaching programs ect. I have purchased infomation from many of them, but never had the big bucks to get coaching from the likes of IMC or mike filsamine. The reason i need your knowledge is that all the marketers friends of yours have alot of my money and /i have nothing to show for it very discourging to be a big fat Inter loser. but thats me where are all the students and success story people who learned the secrets and make the millions like the ones in the pictures.
