Hey Alex, great video… you are on the right track. I have always said if you add more value than you take you will always be wealthy.
One word of advice though as you progress through the ranks like you are and graduate to “expert marketer”, always remember one simple rule “KISS – keep it simple stupid”… to many experts make thing complicated to nudge their own egos…

When you understand who your customer is, why he (or she) has arrived at your doorstep, and what he needs, you can begin to develop a relationship that benefits both him and your business. I think that I might just have experienced a life-changing moment…..I’ve just watched your video and feel that we may get to know eachother very well over the coming weeks and months as your comments have hit home 100%.
Yes, I’ve been online for 12 months, yes, I have my own product, yes I spend more than I earn and yes, I find list building to be very slow (only got 25 on my list so far). I have a weekly newsletter but I am still building relationshuips and haven’t used it to review other products yet.
I have felt for a long time that if only I had a ‘best buddy’ that I could fire off an email to and say ’sorry to be an idiot but just how did you say I should do that??’ with out feeling that I am intruding on their lives or that there is only a financial connection between us, I could make better progress. You may have just volunteered yourself for that job!
I love all the internet marketing stuff - I’d do it 24 hours a day if I could but with a young family and a disabled husband to care for, I completely understand why you want a ‘No Entry’ office to retreat to! It’s hard to remain focussed when others around you think that it is ok to keep interrupting - no matter how many times you ask them not to.
One question you didn’t ask in your survey is what proportion of marketers are male and female - I’d be interested to see how many women want to run a business online or who feel that they have to opportunity to in terms of time and ability.

Hi! Great video. I totally undestand what You say about being overwhelmed with information when You were starting Your carrer. That’s where I am at the moment. I’m in a few programs at once and even though I bought Your Post Launch Profits program I backed off from it because it seemed just to hard to start when I spend a lot of time everyday just going through my email. So I missed the survey. When You say we are going to get the product for free does that include someone like me? Anyway the video is great and its actually educational! Thanks.

OK I almost feel like I’m cheating posting a comment because I know Alex from one of his programs I joined. All I can say is that Alex gives 100%, I have never met him in person. I just wanted to thank you for your sincerity and what seems like a genuine desire to help others and “give back.” I came to IM late in life (I’m roughly twice the age of both you and Andrew Fox) and didn’t even get my first computer until I was almost 40. That being said, I have dived into it headlong and am determined to be successful online, both for my family and for myself.
One thing I’d like mention: If you were really asking if your new blog title is “cheesy”, it isn’t. It a breath of fresh air. But cheesy or not. I’m glad to know there truly are some real people/good guys in this biz.

Get it wrong….well there is an old saying….be careful of the way you treat people on the way up…because you may well meet them all again on the way down!!

I am sure that all of us who truly want to walk in your footsteps and share in your guidance and expereriences, can’t wait for the first instalment.

Life is funny, it has taken until today that I saw the info about the survey and the video, but I was pretty much in the majority with each question.
I am a Microsoft Certified Network Systems Engineer, I have worked in Customer Service for over 25 years. I work now as as a Technical Communicator, I write manuals and guides for how to operate, put together and make things work. I know how to do things in Adobe Acrobat and MS Word that would make your head swim.
I work with Adobe FrameMaker if you know that program, a real desktop publisher.
What I love that I am hearing from you, is that you are not bragging, you are showing what is possible. I don’t brag about my skill set, I just do things with it!
I have been Online for almost 14 years, but
I have been involved with Online Marketing for only4 1/2 months. I have spent a little money, less than $200 USD and have amassed a HUGE amount of information.
Infoglut does not begin to explain what I am experiencing. You grabbed me Alex, you completely pulled me in from the second I read about you and that was in someone’s email.
Now I am here and I am offering you something I give very rarely, my trust.
I saw the results of the survey, I heard and saw your video, I hear your voice. I “feel” you Alex.
I am a VERY good judge of character and I am a loner, I don’t waste my time with people that I can’t learn something from, you have something.

I was actually one of those who didn’t know you well enough, but now got the feeling that I know you, and sure… I trust you!
Your presentation came from your heart - that’s what I feel and I believe that I can learn a lot from you…
I’m already learning about Internet Marketing for about a year besides my offline business and have put together several websites and blogs, but I guess without a proper coaching it is difficult for anyone to get really successful. There are just too many facets and complexities to manage for a one man show.
If you have any part of work which I could do for you, I’d appreciate to work in teaming with you. Time is not a problem because I’m not in a “9 to 5 job” and I have learned quite a few things like webmastering, writing articles, social networking and bookmarking by myself and I’m eager to learn everything to get independant from my offline business (which is actually a salesman job). Specifically I need to learn how to put all the puzzle pieces together to get real success.
