I’m SO frustrated with my failure over the past 2 years! I’ve tried PPC, email, CPA, guaranteed signups, voice broadcasting, free ads, paid ads, SEO, blogging… You name it and I’ve tried it. When I go to my sponsor they always just tell me to try it again or to keep at it. I’m normally not one to give up, but I’ve poured literally over $15,000 into different programs and advertising and I’ve got nothing to show for it. I’m depressed. I’m down. I’m about to throw in the towel. I keep seeing so many people who seem to have a secret that I don’t have and unless I find somebody who actually gives a (blank) about my success and is willing to show me exactly how it’s done, I can’t keep going. PLEASE HELP!

I have tried e-mail marketing by blasting large lists of names, Ad Words, and placement of various other paid and unpaid ads with very little success. I would like to learn, once and for all, how to make significant amounts of money on the net. I am too old to work a “Job” and am outliving my money. I have read, tested and worked for several years, and through several thousands of dollars to learn how to realize a reasonable online income. Being partially disabled, most “normal” jobs in the market are not available to me. It seems that no matter how far I get, there is always “one more” thing I need to learn to be successful.

Hi Alex, I have been trying to work out how to make money in this game for over a year now, I spent $2000.00 on a course that “Pulls back the IM curtain” and guaranteed success. It left me with autoresponder, hosting and domain bills, but no income. Don’t know really!! I have been trying to earn a living off the internet for 9 years??? I have made money (not vast ammounts) and I have lost money(mostly to scammers)which is quite a lot.
I know there is a way of making big money online and i will keep perservering. My Family think I am mad and say i have no chance of making money on the internet.
I have joined many opportunities and lost more money but hey! you have to keep believing.
I can tell you how not to make money online.
I have countless ebooks and ways to make money online but none of them seem to work??
I am not a reader I am a doer if I get shown how to do something I can do it. If you ask me to read how to do it forget it I am useless, Which probably counts me out?

My problem is that no matter what program is out there… or how much (little or large) cash you shell out for it, there is always someone that doesn’t deliver the goods as promised! I have purchased programs, software and scripts etc. and as you know, I have attended marketing seminars. All of this has helped and got me so far along, but im still not quite ready to launch a product of my own. This is well under way, but getting “Professional Mentoring” is harder than people think… “unless” “you’d think” special arrangements were made to get it! I know your great at what you do in your coaching program, and its a shame I wasn’t in there with you guys “from the start”. Things went pair shaped and all the spots were gone by the time I was informed about the launch. I knew it was coming, but “those I trusted” forgot about me! Faith is running thin where the “experts” are involved!

I am technically and financially challenged. I need to learn how to build a website. I have no money to outsource.I have tried several things online MLM’s and marketing with company websites for almost 2 years and have not made any money. The team leaders never seem to help much. Most marketers suffer from analysis paralysis from time to time and become overwhelmed with the sheer possibilities that are before them. They have no idea where to begin. They circle the drain until their bank balances are depleted or they otherwise lose interest.
Then there are the marketers who pay top dollar for coaching programs that are impersonal and for the most part still leave you on your own with unanswered questions. Sometimes the membership sites aren’t ever updated. It can be very disheartening.
Rarely and occasionally, if the stars are right and the river hasn’t risen, it’s possible to pull everything together into a serendipitous celebration.
Well, I’ve suffered from both analysis paralysis and red letter statements from my bank. There have even been times that I paid for my server before groceries.
Just the mere possibility of success is what keeps me moving forward. Thomas Edison failed hundreds or thousands of times (depends who you ask)before successfully creating a working light bulb.
I’ve been on your list for quite a while and I appreciate your candor and your “lend a hand” attitude.
You truly imbue your list with solid actionable steps and excellent offerings. It is your style and panache that first opened my eyes to your methods and I graciously look forward to the opportunity to get to know you better through your coaching program.

I have been working on internet marketing since 2007. I have made a small amount of success, but have always hit a roadblock when it comes to ramping up my efforts. The only real succes I’ve had has been in a couple of BANS sites promoting items in ebay. I’m awful at sales copy, so the few products I’ve created haven’t sold a single copy, and I’m always convinced that I just have bad niche ideas.
I’ve felt like I’ve needed a coach for a very long time, but I had a history of buying more products than I need or could use, and became fearful of spending $1000 on another program.

I discovered you too late to get into your last coaching programe, and was gutted that I had missed out, but while waiting for it to open up again I have been following you and Dean Holland, one of your previous students.
I have struggled for a few years to get a hold on this strange beast known as internet marketing. I have purchased more ebooks and courses than I could really afford, which had up until recently resulted in a net loss
Just when I thought that it was one big scam I came across a mentor who showed me one way to make money from it. It actually worked, in a small way I admit, but I was amazed.
Now I really do believe that anything is possible, and I want to take this from a little side-line earner to a full time income. I also want to share my new found knowledge with my two teenage sons who are also struggling to make any money online.
Where I struggle is with some of the technology, and more specifically how to make it all work together to create a fully integrated and automated income stream. I have an Aweber account and have done nothing with it so far.
I know that you are into list building and joint ventures, and this is an area that I feel has the most potential to give me the level of income that I want. I came across you a long time ago and have been following you ever since.
I don’t think it was until Dean Holland posted on his blog that he quit his job that I really took things seriously.
I started seeing his progress even before he quit his job,so I tried to copy what he was doing and by this time his and your students too, but without the help of a course or anyone to teach me.
If fact I started chatting with your man Marcus Passy just before he won his place on your course and I have seen what it has done for him. I was talking with both him and Paul Wilson just last night on skype and today did an adswap with Gary Simpson.
Anyway.So I started by taking action and I created http://www.inyourfacewisdom.com.
I think the main thing was that I took action, on what I was seeing, and as I said I have done this without any course or so called guru to follow just watching and learning.
Quite a few of Dean’s and your own students thought that I was already on one of if not both of your courses as I was doing so well with my blog and with the posts I was doing(Dean has stopped by a couple of times to post comments and say good job)
I know its not the greatest thing in the world but I took action.
Now with all that being done on my own I want to see what I can achive WITH your help to take me to the top, it’s all very well me chatting to your students but at times, as I have said to Marcus it’s like being stuck outside the bakers drooling at all the cake without the money to buy them.(it’s cold out here let me in):-)
Everytime your course has come up something has happened and the money has had to go elsewhere first time was a motorbike crash so I had to buy new transport, then extra bills that came in and so on. I have debts that I try not to think about but that is not the motivation for me.
I have three children and all I want to do is create a better life for them,that is all the motivation I need to take action and do what is needed to succeed with your course.

I’m building a healthy living web site. I’m associated with a couple of network marketing companies as well. And I’m unsure of my direction. I need to generate money. My orgnial idea was to offer information (value)about healthy living and products on web site and also show what I am doing (network marketing). I woll not regurgitate the previous posts. My problems are just like theirs. I have spent money, tried numerous techniques and always get stuck on some technical matter. Help is non-existent once they have my money, except to try and sell me a new product. Part of this is my fault as I am a senior citizen who is technically challenged and do not have the know how to complete certain requirements. I am one of those few people from the Latin American area who hopes to work from home with better returns over the investment. Also I am very interested in your free spot given as a giveaway. I am facing many problems, but maily it is the money since I have maxed out the credit cards. I had bought good domain names but cannot outsource their development. My father has also some websites which he cannot find ways to run them on profit. Right now it is hard to decide what is the best strategy to follow. I need to work at home to spend more time in physical Therapies. My father owns a PRIVATE UNIVERSITY IN COSTA RICA, specialized in tourism. He cannot afford to invest more but has 25 domain names which I have developed. Other companies that hire webmasters DID NOT RECOGNIZE MY EXPERIENCE and also I was buying several INTERNET SELF LEARNING PACKAGES years ago before the main accident. I don’t have a list or I cannot spend too much time online. I hope to find software to automate the process to get traffic. I want to use THE GOOD IDEAS I HAVE TO USE ALL OUR RESOURCES IN A WIN – WIN SITUATION. My father university needs advertisement and MORE RESOURCES.

Cool offer, especially for someone who has paid for you coaching before and was trying to survive in my brick and mortar business so hard that I failed in my attempt to move to the internet.
My biggest challenges are in the technical areas of just not being able to figure out all of the correct things to do to make it all happen. I am nearly 60 and sometimes feel like maybe you really can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but then I see someone older and they have done it! List building and product creation are challenges too.
I have kept up with your emails and videos and watched your income grow and I believe the best thing you could do for me is help me motivate myself to believe it CAN happen. It obviously worked for you, so why wouldn’t it work for me?
I have spent thousands of dollars trying to make it. I think it would help to have someone hold my hand a bit.

Hello Alex, I need a coach. Over the years I have learned most of the techy stuff, but thinking you have seen it all before or that you know it all can be severely limiting.
I have never been successful using free marketing methods but not confident enough to know where and how to spend effectively to get a result. The more money I waste the less inclined I am to keep on trying.
Lack of confidence is a big hurdle for me, so I need help. I know that small successes would lead to more success and that is where I need a genuine coach who is not just out there to take the punters money and run or so exclusive as to be unaffordable.

Alex,I’m not going to give a list of why you should help me,or how hard I’ve had things…everyone has challenges at some point…my biggest challenge boils down to a handful of issues…I have only been attempting to build an income online for a few months…and in that short time I have been *BOMBARDED* with offers from online marketers…(overwhelm)but the key issue is…who can i trust to show me the key concepts and actions coupled with the correct mindset and expectations?
The information i’ve bought online so far has been bits and peices of what seems like a much bigger picture and generally the person selling the info-product is better at copywriting than actually delivering a workable method of building an online business.
I simply don’t have time to fanny around studying and implementing courses that are flat out crap.I’ve been succesful offline in sales and i’m not interested in making a few hundred quid a month..I want to build a worthwhile online business that delivers real value to people.

The truth is I need a break. My wife and I have been struggling for some time with illness that prevents us from working full time at a job we have to travel to and must work from home. We’re about to lose everything if we can’t find some way to make a real income from home and we’ve tried many but all are either just a scam or far to complex and time consuming.
We’ve always been people who contribute to and help others and even that has had to stop simply because we don’t have the money to spare and that hurts most of all.

Hi Alex,
I would love to work with you on your mentoring program. I have been studying for a number of years now on how to set up multiple streams of income IT business. I had to leave my job a few years ago now. I was working as a Police Officer near to Manchester in England riding Police motor cycles when I got involved in a high speed Police chase on the motorway when I was knocked off my motor Cycle by the drug dealers and I came off my machine at 120 m.p.h. Major damage to my spine. I then spent more time at home with the kids especially with my diabetic son Stuart. I steered him to his black belt at Karate and I watched him grow into a fine young man who was a great athlete and destined for professional sport.
He died in a diabetic coma two years ago aged 20. I spent the following two years mourning his death, I think about him every day but I have to move on now. Other people depend on me and I have started to study internet Marketing again. I am struggling through lack of funds because I haven’t worked in 2 years but I have a good grounding of the basics now. If you would mentor me through the minefield that is ahead of me you will make a young daughter very happy and an older wife very proud that there is great humility out there and a great desire to befriend an icon and a legend in my own rights here in England and i’m stuck on how to get people to come to me and give me some money for an honest product or book. My story is that I haven’t made money online before. I have been trying and searching since begining of this year with no success. You will probably think I am an idiot when I tell you that I quit my job in January this yr, to pursue an income online!
So I haven’t made any money for the last 10 mths now. I do need help on finding the best way to start. I do like the idea of affiliate marketing.
What I struggle with most online would be the words to put on websites, ads or emails for marketing the products. Technically I am fine with setting up of web hosting, domains, web forms, ftp etc.
I have read from some of your previous posts from customers that you are a great motivator. That could be something you could help me become motivated.
Coz I have wanted to be successful online for so long, not just since Jan 2009, but for 3 yrs now. I do get disheartend when not knowing which way to turn with all the info out there!

My struggle is that I need a remake of the very training that I have purchase . A lot of the stuf from the gurus and mentoring program have a
basic method & model to build a business; then there is the add-ons as extra bonuses that are supposed to help your overall profitability and these materials are also from great partners or their personal mentor. So now being a new marketing student you now have 3-5 programs in front of you, all saying that you can retire in 12 months & tell the boss where to go. But, which one should you start with as your foundation? Being without any basic knowledge I then flounder among them all, trying to make them fit as a masterplan.. but that never happens for me.. This leads to me wasting a lot of time, & my original investment and stopping in frustration.
Secondly, I have some training material that involves methods that as soon as I tried to initiate them my mentor was off off to a newer and better way to profits; and some methods were so ineffective and outmoded…other gurus and marketers ridiculed those techniques so I stop trying to implement the program, or the program was not really easy to implement nor fully explained or developed inside the package that I could go straight forward; or something was illegal by marketing rules, search engines, auto-responders or govt regs.
I just need a real marketing plan laid out like a business with the actual steps in a orderly fashion, that is affordable, legal,fully developed & complete (methods, tools, recommended resources, all (all) cost factors stated upfront so there is no surprises that stop the progress), doable in a step-wise manner by the average student/marketer.
These frequent surprises, that I call ‘traps’ just causes me loss of time, money & opportunities. This lack of forward movement & frustration ultimately leads me to stop and look for the next best thing that is more easier and more profitable than what I had.
Lastly, there really is a lack of feedback from the mentor/guru that irks me because I do not know if I am doing it right or what corrections to make to get over hurdles.And trying to get customer service with a live person in a timely manner is hard to obtain.
I need a better way of learning and doing internet marketing.

Feb 08 my wife was diagnoised with cancer at that time my offline buisness was in big trouble due to economic decline.

I’m really frustrated with my failure over the past 2.5 years with net marketing! I’ve read a lot, actually tons of stuff and tried email, guaranteed sign ups, free ads, etc. mostly all low cost stuff since for me 1$ is always multiplied by 50 in my currency. Eventually I have spent INR 25000 but have not made 5% of my investment. When I communicate with my sponsor they always tell me to try it again and keep doing it, so I am still at it but success is not in sight as yet. Though I am well experienced with tech stuff like creating sites, graphics and some SEO I am still not sure which is the right path to success. Affording your normal coaching is out of question due to the multiplied by 50 factor I could really use your free coaching. There is so many secret formulas in the IM domain that I read everyday, I am totally boggled. I need to find somebody who actually shows me the direction to take, then I am confident that I will reach the end of the rainbow and the pot of gold. PLEASE SHOW ME THE WAY!

As your opening statement says,”Lets Cut to the Chase”. After reading the above posts,I struggled as to whether or not to put my name in the pot. I would hate to be you and have to figure out who is filling your tank. As for me,I have surfed in and out of the Net for almost 3 years looking at all of the offers and some freebies attempting to determine who has a beleiveable program and who is a scam artist, still can’t tell. Anyway, my struggle is determaning the approach to take and how to accomplish the original start up. Most sites now,even the ones that don’t offer coaching say you need a coach in order to make it in this business. So, unless someone like you comes along and offers free coaching to everyone up to a select number, I guess I am out. Can’t afford it. I could give you a real verifiable sob story, but I don’t think that should come into play here. So, I guess I just need a nudge to get me going and I’ll be ok. Maybe an email rather than your coaching program. Anyway, if you ever want to negotiate on a program, let me know. Sorry I took up so much space and time to say nothing, but, hey,thanks for giving this program to deserving people. While making money on the internet may not be hard, it appears a lot of people need help.

Before I go into where I struggle and what I want for my business – I’d like to say why….
I want more than anything to get my wife out of her incredibly stressful job, which is affecting her health to a worryimg level and has been for several years. She is stuck as it pays reasonably well and we live in a rural area with no real option to work elsewhere. If I can simply generating her wage level as extra income through my business I can rid her of this, which is really wrecking her health and enjoyment of life.
It wouldn’t actually take a huge yearly amount to do this – an extra $35k a year would see her out of there – but from there I want to kick on to the highest levels.
It has to be said that having a mentor working alongside is the only way to really get to the nitty gritty of how to do this. Not just in this field but any walk of life. To follow and learn from someone who already walks the walk is such a massive advantage – and not just from a technical side, but to have a “coach” who believes in you and encourages you from a perspective of “yes you can do it ‘cos I did it!”
The old adage that if you want to be where I am then you have to do what I did. Which is not easy to do unless you have the information from the horses mouth.
I am already a self employed ppc marketer, making an average income, enough to live on but not get rich. I am really struggling to get myself out of this level of income, and I want to be in the big league! I want to be making the big money but it seems to be a “closed shop” where only the privileged few can get in. What is it that they do and know that I don’t??
I am particularly interested in building subscriber lists, and using autoresponder emails and building an ongoing business to generate a sustainable (and increasing) income and take it to as high a level as is humanly possible. However I’m open to any legitimate way of marketing and don’t discount anything. There’s many ways to crack a nut after all.
I really have a challenge with the technical side of things. I have no background to fall back on and get so frustrated with products I have bought that say “just build this squeeze page” or “throw up a simple sales page like this” and they never show you exactly how to do it – and it seems impossible from a zero knowledge standpoint. Or I spend days working on something (that you probably could throw up in half an hour) and end up with something that looks nothing like it should and half of the links don’t work! aaargghhh!
I’d love to work with you on this project and can guarantee 100% commitment – I have the time and the hunger, I just need the mentor to work with me!

I suppose the struggle for me is still the TRAFFIC issue and not having much budget means trying to drive free traffic.
I remember when you told Dean H’s story some time ago and I started my own blog “Internet Marketing Test Lab” and did what you said about giving before taking.
I’ve also developed my own free report which I wrote totally from scratch using my own material (NO PLR) and I have been giving this away for free using Giveaways.
I’ve also recorded a video series for the report which is free.
Now I have to think of how I monetise the list I have built in the last two months (About 150 subscribers)and this is a struggle whether to use that gift to keep building a list or to turn it into a paid product.
The way I could use your help is by following a proven roadmap and your coaching really would be invaluable.

I have been following you since accidentally finding your gurus dream report, since then it has been a revealing adventure, which once was a misguided tour.
My story is similar to all the horror stories you have read about IM, :”guy tries to find a lucrative to money online, gets scammed again and again by products that promise the sky but deliver nothing, till he becomes financially exhausted and becomes just another statistic of failure in the internet marketing industry”, I am the poster child for this story..
I have three things to say and I am a straight forward guy so here goes:
1. I am yearning for success and if you pick me, I won’t let you down, lets just say I intend to be featured as your star student next time you open this thing…
2. I am a hardass, I don’t give up easily, how?
let me tell one thing honestly, I have never, ever in my life won anything (not even worth 50 cents) so that should tell me that I am an unlucky person by default, but my posting here proves my persistence to change my luck, I am not giving up on myself,yet.. I hope you’d understand what I mean..

Hello Alex,
for the last couple of years I have struggled with severe depressions which have caused me to be off sick for over 2 years now.
What’s even worse is that I have, let’s not say wasted, but invested over 12.000 € (which amount to over 18k $ right now) in vast amounts of information about internet marketing.
What that means is my credit card is maxed out, as is my bank account.
My biggest problem in internet marketing is by far procrastination.
I have tons and tons of information, I have studied so many e-books and watched so many videos but I just can’t get myself to just take action and actually make things WORK.
I have watched your video last time you opened “Marketing with Alex” and desperately wanted to buy myself into your mentoring program but just couldn’t afford to pay 997 bucks to do so.

great opportunity! Just this morning I sighed that I needed a coach to get my stuff straight, what a coincidence.
Here´s what´s going on:
I´be been in the online marketing business for 2 years now, writing and selling my own ebooks on nutrition and fitness.
Two websites, one blog.
I am doing about 2000 Euros a month with it.
Google Adwords only.
I have 3 or 4 more products in the pipeline/my head. I want to enhance my ppc using also facebook ads, bing, yahoo. I want to up my conversion. I need to do splittests. I am in masscontrol and own several other good resources with loads of working ideas i would like to implement.
I just do not know what to do first, where to start, what is effective, what is more important etc etc.
I guess I have all it takes but I am standing in my way too much. I am too complicated, unfocused.
Short: I need a coach. To do my thing, but better. And to get over the hump to the next level, from doing okay to doing 10.000, 15.000 a month.

Well for my Internet marketing experience, I have none. I joined quite a lot of giveaway events and get quite a lot of informations, but after reading lots and lots of them, I don’t really seems to get their point, well, might be my problem in understanding them. I wish I can find some books or anything that can actually provides a clear and straight to point information for me as a guide to earn an income online.

Anyone who knows anything about Alex Jeffreys should be breaking their necks to get at this outstanding offer and I’m no different!!
I have been dabbling with IM for quite a while now – about 2 years to be exact. Not as long as many others I realize but 2 years is 2 years.
I had joined a couple of communities online all of which promised the same thing – to help us be successfull with our online ventures. To be honest, they are full of hot air and false promises. I challenge anyone to prove me wrong.
One thing I have come to learn over the last 2 years or so is that the IM world is vast. To many new starters like me, it is a daunting and sometimes scary place – where do you start, what do you do, how much do you spend and on what, who to believe,who’s genuine and who isn’t etc?
I’m still asking myself these very same questions now. Information overload takes hold and boom – your head explodes in this minefield of false promises and get rich quick schemes!
Sure I’ve given in to temptation quite a few times I’m ashamed to say. In my quest for financial freedom and a better life, I’ve been well and truly sucked in and taken the bait.
What I find the most frustrating though is when, like me, you are full of commitment, enthusiasm and have a burning desire to succeed and help others. I’m bursting at the seams to get started along the right road and have enormous incentives to make money, help others and be successful. I seriously need guidance and direction.
Just recently, I have been following Dean Holland who is an ex student of yours and how well is he doing. It’s not difficult to work out who this is down to and I know for a fact there are many more like him. I also know the money, effort, time and dedication that you have put into your own business and your own success makes you a highly desirable option for anyone looking at this business. Like I said, to me its a simple no brainer – there is no-one who does this, particularly in the UK, any better than Alex. It’s as plain and as simple as that!
Lastly Alex, there is the financial aspect. I think anyone with an ounce of honesty would say this is the primary reason for wanting to succeed in IM.
It was actually only last night that me and my partner were looking through the long haul holiday brochures, planning for our next holiday in Febuary 2011.
Of course, my partner was instantly drawn to the Maldives – “yeah right” I said. Like we could afford £2500 each for those holidays!!
I remember saying to my partner “I don’t know why she has given me these brochures – do I look like I have that kind of money”!
What an incentive – I adore her and love buying her surprise things. Having an income to support being able to go out right now, today and tell her she can have the best water villa on the best island with the best views in the world – and it’s all paid for. That would be an absolute dream.
Oh and to top it off, you can also have your dream wedding there aswell!!
You could go on and on I know – everyone wants the financial security for numerous reasons.
Anyway Alex, can’t wait to hear from you. Keep doing it my friend and I sincerely hope one day to meet you in person to say a huge thanks for everything.

I have been looking at the power of Internet Marketing over the last 4 years, I have a couple of sites up and have spent £10,000 on a so called coaching course (they took my money and promptly disappeared). Now I am very careful in what I buy, but in a lot of the products there is always something missing to allow you to go to the next level, ie making money.
I guess my biggest problems are driving traffic to my websites and is my product any good.
My reasons for wanting to have a successful Internet Business is to have more time with my children and work for myself, to be in control of my own destiny.

I am trying to get underway with Internet Marketing, after I had to give up my regular job to care for my mum (long story but basically she suffered a nasty fall and needs full time care).
I have always enjoyed working with computers and like to think I am quite a quick learner. When I set my mind to something I always see it through.
I have spent some time subscribing to people’s lists, to see what they do and purchasing some courses to learn more.
In the last month and a bit I have built a list of a a few hundred people (with help).
But my knowledge is still bitty and probably behind the times.
It can be difficult at times to know whether the book/course you are buying is really new material or rehashed stuff.
I am also struggling to engage the subscribers, get them to open my emails, and find ways to build my list further.
I want to develop trust with my subscribers, help them find out about techniques or resources that could help them, offer gifts at times but also of course sell to them too including other people’s products.
I would like help in the list building aspect, squeeze pages and emails in particular.

Unfortunately I missed your previous emailon this topic. Hope this is ‘better late than never’.
I went to Madeira 19th September and suffered a stroke first day at our apartment. Spent the next two and half weeks in a hospital bed and was released to travel home 19th October,.
Had intended to get started with a number of websites I had researched but no such luck.
I wasn’t allowed to use my laptop which I had taken with me, so I have lost track pretty well of most I had learned.I am now awaiting a trip to my local hospital,advised probably be in December
I am unable to get around the traffic list problem which concerns me in how one should start emailing people without requests. The other thing is using Google PPC, Adsense etc which appears the way forward. I feel I can write topical articles to the required standards also search out the appropriate Niche sites spending money,
along with approporiate Affiliate sites.
Although slow at this time due to the stroke.

I have the drive and the determination and most of all the mindset to succeed online. However I get caught up in all the different marketing processes, which ones are really effective, and which ones are a waste of time. The technical stuff is kind of problem as well. I can put a website together(kind of) but it does not look so great. I have been looking for a mentor, but the prices are just so high I have not been able to get one. 2 weeks ago I gave notice to quit my daytime regular job to persue online marketing full time. I finish on December 12th.

Well unlike most people my goal is not simply to make money online, although that is important to me. I also want to market my art online and help other artists and entrepreneurs do so as well. I have had a bad few years where for some stupid reason I have practically wrecked my life and alienated myself from the people who loved me.
I was doing well at school up until the last 18 months or so, when I suppose I got in with the wrong crowd. I completely ruined all my chances of getting good grades through bad attitude and a stupid necessity to show off to some people who I now realise were not worth it.
Despite blowing it at school and giving my parents a really hard time they tried to support
me and helped me get into college and get a part time job. Both of which I lost through my own stupid actions and still hanging with the wrong crowd. Not turning up and skiving off. Generally being imature and selfish.
Then I left home and got myself deeper and deeper into debt and still was obnoxious to my family even though they were trying to help me.
Now a three years further on I am unemployed and in debt with a 2 yr old child and another one on the way. Trapped pretty much at home and have pretty much let everyone around me down.
The worse thing of all is that I can clearly see thats its all entirely my own fault.
I am able to get online though so I am clinging on to the hope that I can turn things around and
make something of myself. For the sake of my children especially. It would be really lovely to
make my parents proud of me again and be able to pay back the debts that I owe.
You will realise that I haven’t given myself the best environment to get things going again and I
can see that a lot of people consider me a lost cause. But I desparately want to succeed at this and need some clear guidance on which way to go what to do and how to dig myself out of this corner.
I will do this though and am determined to turn my life around for the better. Its difficult to stay motivated when things keep going wrong so I think I also need to get help with my mindset.
I believe very much that your mentorship and training would be a fantastic opportunity for me to change my life forever. So I have all my fingers and toes crossed and look forward to trying my best at this whatever.

The problem is where and how to begin. I need a plan of action to reach this goal. More importantly, I need a correct plan of action.
The gerbil running on a wheel really looks like he’s getting something done; but at the end of the day, he’s no further ahead than when he started.
That’s the problem with the products I’ve purchased. There is no step by step method-especially if your new to internet marketing.
A goal without a plan is nothing more than a wish; and I want someone who knows what they’re doing to give me a plan to reach my goals.

As you can see, I have not listed a website, as I had reached a point where I was putting in an imense amount of effort, but was seeing no return. I am not talking about return in a monetary sense, but more of a return in the sense that I had created the blogs as a communication forum between myself and my readers, but I was getting no comments.
I took the website down to see if I can re-focus and go about it another way. It is extremely frustrating when you are well versed in the subject you are blogging about, but have no-one to share your knowledge with. This has been my struggle for the past seventeen months.
What I am looking to do is have someone show me where I am going wrong with respect to getting readers for my blogs. I know I create excellent content, I just need someone to show me how to get others to read it.
To converse with one’s readers should not only be a satisfying experience, but an educational one as well.

Going on 20 years ago, my wife and I lost everything (and I mean everything), business, house, etc and we were forced into bankruptcy following so called professional advice from accountants and lawyers.
Sooo…I have dug deep into my roots and called on a unusual skill to publish my first website. I am still tweaking the site as I am having slight problems with it, e.g. the clickbank link does not work yet.
I would like to think that I have a product that appeals to many and can be translated into numerous languages. Hopefully, you will agree and consider being my first JV partner.
My wife and I currently reside in rental premises and I drive my daughters car. We aspire to purchasing a home in a nearby retirement resort and a new car.

I am an Aussie farmer doing it very tough at the moment. This year we’re just trying to stay one step ahead of losing our family farm. My husband suffers depression, so I have to help him cope, as well as doing a lot of the physical work myself, which I struggle with. We have old machinery and basics to work with, which need upgrading, which would make things a lot easier, also a lot of debt to clear,which would take a lot of our stress away.
I have been searching for a way to help us, and have convinced myself that an online business is the way out of my problems.
I have only been able to afford cheap courses, which leave me confused, because they are not teaching the basics. So I can’t seem to put it all together. I have gained a few marketing skills, but not enough to take action yet, and I know that’s what I have to do, cause nothing happens without it. I need a course that will take me step by step from the beginning without leaving anything out and leaving me frustrated.

Over the last two years I have been studying towards creating an income on line. Having paid for many courses and systems I am at the point of giving up when I read your blog.
Your blog and your offer have spurred me on to write this comment in the possibility of being chosen to receive your free offer of training.
I am 71 and have recently had a marriage breakup which has had a traumatic effect on my life and the result has left me very little – I do not even own a home and am just renting from the State.
What little funds I did have were invested in an international superannuation scheme and that has had its funds frozen by one of our high profile banks. It appears that I may get 80% of my investment back but not for three years. In the meantime my credit card is maxed out and my only income is a State weekly superannuation payout.
Having had two of my own profitable companies 10 years ago this situation has left me in dire straights.
At the moment, because of no funds, I am working in a local voluntary organisation to help them upgrade their computer system – giving back to the community. I also undertake, on a voluntary basis, a lot of computer work for my local church.
All this being said I would love to be in the situation of having a profitable online presence so as to be able firstly to give to voluntary organisations (I have also tithed my income) and secondly to be able to “give it forward” and be able to help others in not so good situations in life by giving them training.

I´m a student but at the same time I been working pretty hard to earn some money on line. I’ve tried PPC, email, CPA, guaranteed signups, free ads, paid ads, SEO, blogging…
In my email I got the inbox full of marketers mails and I use to try evething they say that works, but at the time nothing works to me…
Sometimes I wonder if I´ve been doing lots of mistakes in EVERYTHING I tried or wahts going on…
I´m from Costa Rica and I´ve been looking for a long time for a coaching program locally but nothing, and sometimes I would like to have a good coaching program online but always they are a bit expensive($5000+) (and paying everything,… I can not affort it), and online I have tried some “blueprints”, ebooks, mp3, videos… and they said do this, then do that and thats it, but they dont say how to do it and what things you have to avoid…
Sometimes I think is almost imposible do some money online but… I´m sure if you know how its not.
I´m really intesting in your coaching program because you are an excellent marketer and, I´m sure that with yourself telling me how to and myself working hard I will have pretty good results!

I could feed you a lot of BS regarding my sob story, but I’m going to give you the short form because I know you are a busy man here is the sequence of events starting from 1998 until now, yeah 10 years of struggle:
1. Met a girl when I was 17
2. Spent money I didn’t have on the girl
3. Girl left me completely by age 21
4. $30k in debt, all spent on her, lost my job because I was so focused on her, got F’s in school and almost completely screwed my chances for higher education.
5. Looking for a quick fix, I tried all the horrible jobs: selling knives door to door, selling insurance door to door, selling vacuum cleaners door to door, selling cell phones, pushing credit card applications in malls, working at the Sony Store pushing crap electronics, selling suits, MLM of all sorts (herbalife, melaluca, isagenix, 1-ups like EDC, etc….), and sadly all to no avail.
6. I was getting nowhere, terrified regarding my debt, kept having ‘ethical’ conflicts with many of my jobs because I just can’t bring myself to lie to people to sell a product.
7. Back in school, grades are better, angry with myself. Living with parents. Older than I was 10 years ago, but sadly nothing to show for it.

Despite my struggles for the past few years, I am optimistic that I can be a success online, I just need to right direction from someone who has done it.

I want to congratulate you for this initiative. It’s not usual to see people that are succeeded online to take time from their work and paid coaching programs to help others for free. So I want to wish you all the success and for your 3 chosen as well.
I would like to be one of the three. I also have been trying for almost two years and I never made a dollar online. I think I’m close, I think I can devise a way to do it, but there is always something missing.
After reading all the posts before mine, I understand that are people who needs more this free coaching from you than me. After all, I’m not desperate because I have a offline job and although I don’t make the money I need to have a comfortable life according my standards, I can still pay my bills. So what I would ask you is not to be chosen for this coaching but if it will be possible for you to release some kind of “newbie” guide without hype and BS that all the gurus put on their free manuals. When you get them you find the old stuff everybody knows and the missing piece is always some thousand dollars away: on their high, expensive coaching/training programs.
I know which are my weak points and which are my strengths. Just don’t know how to overcome the weak points.
I made my self a promise: I will get a coach. But first I must earn online the money to pay for that coaching. So that’s what I’m looking for. Not how to make millions but simply how to make a few hundreds dollars every month so I can pay a good coaching program. Does this makes sense?

There’s so much information out there that I’m totally going through ‘info overload’, BUT one of the clear pieces of advice I’m hearing time and time again is “… get alongside a good mentor.” Some months ago I watched videos posted to Twitter that were made by some of those that travelled from around the world to attend training you offered in the States. I have been trying online for 4 years. I’m trying to do affiliate marketing, and out of all the money I’ve spent, no one has a solid step-by-step program to teach me HOW to market affiliate programs, not just WHAT to do. I don’t have $3,000 for a person’s training just because they give me a free website. There has to be some steps, an ebook – something – that can give me the steps (for instance, how do you set up the autoresponder with messages and giveaway digital products?) I guess I just need a guidance counselor. Most things you can give me some directions and I can do it. But this stuff is made to sound so easy when it’s not. Otherwise we all would be making $200K a year (or month for that matter). Please help me. I want to replace my current job with this income as the market is so unstable right now, and I don’t want to wait until I’m in jeopardy. Hi, my name is Ian and I shall be 50 years old on Dec 20th 2009. I have lived a rich and interesting life having rubbed shoulders with the high and the mighty and enjoyed celebrity status being a household name in the UK back in the Eighties.
I have been married twice, the first giving me two beautiful and talented children and the second giving me inner peace and a deep and meaningful love.
My wife and I are currently living full time on the Canary Island of Tenerife, a holiday paradise and we have a “family” of six rescued dogs and three cats.

Well, ten years ago we arrived on the Island with no plan and little money (divorce does that you know!) and moved into a small run-down apartment in search of a new life.
Just a few short months later we were volunteering for a British-run animal sanctuary and put our own lives on hold for the following 8 years while we worked tirelessly to recue, heal and home this Island’s abandoned, unloved and unwanted cats and dogs.

As I write I have just £24.97 in the bank but a million dollar dream in my eyes that I have to see become a reality.

I started to learn about online marketing in June 2009 and despite everyones claims and following instructions to the letter, including writing ezine articles and spending hudreds of £’s on ppc, have failed to make a single penny. I spend several hours each day on webinars and learning about various online systems but this just gives me information overload. I have been working an 80 hour week for the last 9 years only managing to get 3 vacations in the whole of that time as I am so tied to my work. I dearly want to have some freedom to see some of the world and spend more time with my family. I know there has got to be more to life than work work work. I apply myself 200% to whatever I do, an internet business is the last thing I think of at night and the first thing I think of in the morning but I lack clear direction. I hope to hear form you. I see the shapes of each piece. Each piece does something: blogging, SEO, list building, content, adsense, adwords, autoresponders and so on.

MY STORY
I come from a middle class background (the poorer middle class). My father is an alcoholic whose 3 focuses in life are drinks, drinks and more drinks. To fund his alcoholic lifestyle, he tends to borrow from money lenders (quite frequently and in secret). When he cannot pay back, the money lenders come after my mother.
Now my mother does not earn much either and having to run the household, pay the bills and take care of 3 children takes a toll on her. Adding to that are the money lender problems and she is usually so worn out dealing with them and we are usually left with almost nothing at the end of each month.
Seeing her struggle to make ends meet and to provide us with a better future, I told myself that the only way I can help ease her burden is to make money myself. So I started working in a corporate job but hated 90% of it because I was being micro managed and felt very stifled…too many rules and regulations. Yet I stayed for 3 years until I could not take it any longer. I heard about Internet Marketing through some featured IM-ers in my local newspapers and because of the easy money lure, I decided that this was my way out.
The thing is I did not plan my finances right because I thought that I could instantly make money once I clicked on the internet. Wishful and silly thinking…I’ve almost depleted my savings now and I’m afraid my mother will make me return to being an employee as she sees me “bumming” at home (in her eyes) as I have not made a single dollar yet. I have fooled her into thinking that I got another work-at-home job with a friend but the fooling can only go so far before I’m found out. Of course if I need money desperately, your coaching is not the solution. Getting a part time job will be and I might just do that to tide things over temporarily. All I can do and want to do is Keep Moving Forward.
But my long term goal is to own my own business and make lots of money. I have a target income of US$1,000,000 to make by age 27 or lower. I’m 22 now.
Why do I want to own my own business?
I will have more free time to do all the things I want like hanging out with my family, enjoying nights out with friends, basically I want to be able to do anything I want at anytime I want.
Why do I want to make lots of money? I want to finally relieve my mother of all the slog she has had to go through for me and my siblings. I want to clear all the debts my father has incurred. I want to be able to allow my siblings to enjoy their youth without worry (clothes, activities, travel…well for me included
and to put them through university. I want to put my family in such stature that people will not look down on us again. Basically I want to never ever worry about the lack of money ever again. I want to be in a position where if I want to purchase something, I think “is it worth buying” rather than “do I have enough to buy it”.
All of this I can achieve through having an internet business I know for sure.

WHERE AM I STRUGGLING ONLINE?
I just started online in mid september this year. I have spent about almost $2k on get rich quick products and still have not made a dollar online. To be fair, I have to say I have been jumping from one thing to another in desperation to make that $1. I have decided to find my focus and work on one system and after numerous readings, I have decided that product creation is the way to go. I know that it’s been said that affiliate marketing is the best way to get started for a beginner so I have created my own site in a niche and am getting traffic, not much actually…less than 50/month but not conversions.

Brief history – I have tried for approx 3-4 years now, my email(my first and still my primary)- yep created for an affilate program. My website yet another “go at things” and the content on the site – from yet another membership site i am a part of.(best one so far)
The problem is not the programs themselves but the process of completion, plenty of tools but no-one to say do this first, do this next etc, etc.
This is where i think you can help me, you have struck my nemisis on the head with Newbie’s Nightmare, and i feel you can guide where others just “show”.

Hi Alex, I don’t know if I am too late but I will ‘throw my hat into the ring’ anyway. As you are doing this to discover problems people are having so you can possibly put out a better program to help let me tell you where I seem to get hung up. One, the techie stuff. I am more on the creative side and when it comes to the thoght of html, or ftp to a host from a domain dns etc, I just kind of get shut down. I have been looking for away to create an income generated through the internet for a few years and have tried full force the last year. i am so frustrated and have gone through so many ‘here is the missing link to success’ type programs that it really is disheartening. I am intelligent, have run my own real world businesses since my first one at about 12 takin a wagon around the neighborhood and washing cars for $3 bucks, inside and out for $5! (hand wash and dry I might add
) Due to circumstances which led me to trying to help and help and help the wrong couple people get their lives back etc. I have found myself in a very bad position and really need to start bring in some income from my efforts online or i will have to give up(last thing I want as I know I am so close to acheiving my goal.) but I will be left with out a roof over my head and ergo, no internet access. I know you can poach it but it will be difficult to charge up laptop, etc. I am not putting you on it is just what it is, though in the past couple years while trying to help someone I did find my self living motel to motel for awhile I am afraid this time I won’t even be able to do that. Anyway, sorry to go on, if you can just get me over this last hump that would be great. This seems to be the story of my online life. I have only just found this page and noticed you said comments by 1st December. Looks like I have missed the deadline.
Anyway, on the off-chance that you haven’t chosen your winners yet, here’s my story.
I have been trying to make it online for about 18 months now but not really made any money to speak of; the odd $50 to $100 in about a month is about my limit – but I’m not giving up. I am full of desire to succeed, and I am willing to go the extra mile in order to do so. I am confident that it is just a matter of time.
One of the problems I have is information overload. I totally agree with you, I can see that I need a mentor, the trouble is, it seems that everyone is a Guru and they are all very persuasive when it comes to selling their systems. I have bought into a number of these so called Guru’s and this has two main effects. It drains my very limited resources, but more importantly, I end up spending lots of time trying new methods, which are usually outdated, expensive to implement (e.g. Google pay per click advertising systems) and eventually do not work.
It’s not that I don’t have the time or the inclination, it’s just that time is marching on and I still have got nowhere. If I had been given the right method from the beginning I would have got somewhere and be actually making a living by now.
I will be honest with you, I cannot afford to pay for your course, so I am hoping to win a place with you. If you accept me on your coaching course, in return I will make you 4 promises:
1) I will do everything you say, and I will do it to the best of my abilities.
2) I will not procrastinate, I will take massive action and I will put as much time as is required, from day one. Even if that means 20 hour days, I am prepared and willing to do that.
3) I will give you 50% of everything I earn as a result of your training for my first year. If you do not want this, I will donate 50% of my earnings to any charity of your choice.
4) I am willing to be your case study – how you helped someone achieve success from complete zero. I am sure you have no end of testimonials’ from happy customers, but I am willing to open myself completely, to show everything I do under your instruction and document everything step by step so you can show your future customers exactly how you helped me. I am sure this could be worth your time.
I hope you read this Alex even though it is after the deadline, and I hope you see fit to take me on. I am a fellow Brit and I think it is more difficult for us to become successful as most of the top names and mentors are from the US (which is also why I am so impressed with your achievements) not that I am using that as an excuse. I am not an unintelligent person; I am a quick learner and very dedicated and hard worker, I would just like a chance to prove myself and be given not just guidance, but the right guidance.

Hello Alex,
I only heard about your training course on 4th Dec which I duly enrolled in, so I was not aware of your free trainig offer until after it was closed ( 1st Dec. I believe )I have many reasons (excuses) why I’ve not been successful in Internet marketing..my age 65+, my background,I was an electronics engineer all my working life where you were presented with a problem and you fixed it.Cut and Dry.With Internet marketing you have to basically create something from nothing and a million and one people telling you the best way to do it, resulting in spending fortunes on information, only to end up totally confused and back to square one… as I write this I can see these are only excuses trying to justify the money I’ve wasted however it’s a real problem to me and I’m sure I’m not the only one in this predicament. If you can help me out of this destructive spiral you truly would be a marketing genius. I’m too late to become a ‘Guru’ I would just be happy to earn a few bob to supplement my pension.

Why I think I should be in your coaching program?
Simple because I am giving up my good pay full time job to go full time and I am going to the top after seeing some result.
The current job just taken too much of my time to concentrate on what I really like to do…internet marketing home biz. Hey Alex, I have been following your meteoric rise with great interest. I watched as you used your personality to network your way through the big boys, first in Europe and then as soon as you were better funded, you would attend them where ever you found them. I have read enough to know that many big gurus suggest this method as the quickest way to the top. One very successful guru wrote:”I never sat in the audience during the seminar, I always worked the bar”.He went on to say “Do your homework” I would read everything I could find about the person I was targeting. This way, I could subtly transition into a subject I knew he would be extremely interested in. I would give the bar tender a generous tip up front to make sure that my new friend always had a drink in front of him. The bottom line was:Once you hit it off and drink with the guru, he will never turn down a request to J.V. with his new friend.
There were many variations to this theme, but the most important lesson was to attend as many seminars as you can afford to attend because it is “absolutely the fastest way to become successful in this business” If you have any kind of personality at all, face to face networking will make you a player in this business.
I have watched you as you used this exact method to take yourself to the top. I have watched enough of your videos to know that you have a great personality. You are funny, witty and natural on camera. Hell, I want to get drunk with you myself.
My problem was always, I just didn’t have the funds to attend these events. They can be very expensive, as you know. They were always great distances from where I lived.
Using your insight, is there another way to tempt the gurus into working with you. What type of offer could you (should you) make to them. Is it worth giving away the store for a chance to network with them. Is it possible?
I read you blog. You say you picked six people instead of three, because these guys had a modicum of success. Do you really think this way fair to people like me and many others who have made all of the classic mistakes. Had information overload.
Wouldn’t it be a better challenge for you to take people who are banging their heads against their monitors, than to make a successful person more successful? Wouldn’t it be a much larger feather in your cap by taking some people who have nothing but zeroes and put some numbers in front of the zeroes. I think the ads and copy read better with successes like these? These grateful, overjoyed people would also provide you with with following additional benefits: They would jump up and down for you. They would be willing to give you their first born and last cigarette. They would give you their first dollar and loyalty until their last breath. They would be first, to donate their last kidney!
The others would politely, and quietly thank you for helping them make MORE money.
Alex, I know I’ll never be chosen because of all the bar comments but I really think you should choose people who have failed to make any money. Have been unable to quit that job, or pay those bills. Well, I have some success and we want more!
My wife and I work hard and we have mastered some tools and keep learning traffic, seo, etc, web design, etc.
We need coaching to drive us in the right direction. We found out that most of the times “wash, rinse and repeat” just doesn’t work, and we ask our self why?
Anyway, long story short, “we want in” in your coaching, we need it!

I am a retiree and been trying to make a little money on the net to supplement my SS income.
I have done some advertising on Google and Yahoo
and only paid out money. I used other company websites to do my advertising, not knowing how to build one and the free ones are complicated.
I can get around on the internet a little bit.
I need some one to show me how to set up a product so it can be sold and down loaded to the customer. Any help along those lines, or any help
at all would be greatly appreciated.

Well what can I say? I’ve been trying to become a successful network marketer for almost 2 years now, and consider myself to be somewhat of a failure. I haven’t been doing well at all. I am still strugling just to make Capture Pages. Everytime I ask a question on the best way to do this, I get sent someone else’s software that doesn’t seem to work right. Anyhow I am very much in debt in Credit Cards at the moment because of online marketing and my husband is ready to kill me, so I would love to be able to become your Student for free, and finally learn things the proper way and get myself out of debt.

Well my situation is similar to the other commenters.
I have been concentrating on 3 niches for the past year or so and have not made a penny.I am 58 yrs old and need to be successful soon,not just financially but psychologically as well,so i can become respected and relevant in my kids eyes.
Info overload is a massive problem , as is all the technical stuff.
I am deeply frustrated and unhappy.If i got one email from Paypal saying someone has paid me $20 for something i think that would be the turning point in my online career !

Thanks for your blog. Very educational. I would very much like to be included in your next scheme as I am at a point of giving it all up due to frustration. I am sure you can make money online, but not sure where to start, or stop as it may be. I suffer from information overload, and after one whole year of working hard, learning, buying many packages, and attempted creation of a few sites and blogs, today have not earned a penny as yet. I am sure I am not doing this right. What frustrates me more is the fact that I am from IT background, and don’t need to learn the basics about websites, FTP, email settings etc. But cannot concentrate, and consolidate my knowledge and my learnings about IM into a money making machine. If only I start making anything just to bring the confidence back, it would be just fantastic for my morals, my confidence, and self-belief. Here is hoping you could give me a leg up. One day, when I make it, I am going to do the same and help others like me for free, as I now know what it really feels like. I am based in Manchester and sometimes I think it is harder for us in UK to succeed. I will ofcourse promise to stop looking at other training packages and concentrate on yours with a promise of delivering results. I could be your case study.
