As you know lately i had an issue with coming up with my plan. UGH
But some of my goals for this year will be to make $100,000 from my new online business and to launch my own product.

I am studying with you and watching what you do to learn. Getting good information from people who really know and from doing. Then implementing it with an energetic positive attitude, consistently and diligently. That is what I see you doing and I plan to emulate those principals.
One of the reasons so many of your students are advancing is because of the kind of person you are. You teach by example. I have learned to be more personal and expressive as a part of my marketing plan. I am trying new stuff like developing a new product with some well known marketers. In my niche business I have a much clearer plan that I am just doing.

Hi Alex… very cool video. I am not one to make resolutions because the failure rate is too high so I don’t bother with them. What I do is make a plan and stick to it.

There is no doubt 2009 is going to be a life changing year for me. It started the first day of Marketing With You!
My goal for 2009 is to establish an income that will support my wife and I so she can give up work.
To do this I will be creating products of my own, through promoting affiliate marketing and my new found love of making web video commercials.
My goal is to create an income of $30,000 to $50,000 buy the end of 2009.
At the moment I’m suffering information overload and trying to do too much at once. Yes I need to take on board what you’re teaching us, but it’s not allowing me to see anything through to a stage of completion or self sustaining.
I have multiple projects or processes that are only half-baked. I need to find a way to progressively go back and bring them up to where they only require routine updates or they are completed and are running on autopilot.
How to systematically go about this is probably the area I need assistance with.

This year I will finally take a leap and start an online business. I spent all last year trying to learn all I could about internet marketing, but was only getting bits an pieces of the puzzle. I truely am determined to get the ball rolling. My biggest obstacle is really knowing how to find a great niche. There are so many ways to go about it, but nothing is definitive. My second obstacle will be driving traffic. If I can get past these two problems, I feel I could really make a go at this online marketing.

My plan for 2009 is to build a business of follower and to be able to make 100,00 dollars. Now for me this would be a major accomplishment since before your course I did not have a clue as to what had to be done. I now have a blog at http://www.jjbullard.com and I am starting to see how to drive traffic to it. I really have no clue as to how to make this happen but I put in long hours of failing forward first.

We launched our first, original site thirteen weeks ago (Sunday Sept 28th). Our overall Alexa ranking was around 16 million.
Now it’s a touch over one million. No PPC, no e-mail marketing, & the site’s not even optimized for keywords yet! Amazing!
Looking for some insight on the technical side to launch our next site so I can now build a list.

Although my plan has not been fully organnized on paper yet … which I will do asap, because things seem to be unfolding quickly for me. I plan to make $5000.00 by the end of February, 10,000.00 by the end of May and $100,000.00 by this time 2010. With regards to my video, I’m practicing with it. I will be blogging about my Chicago trip and before that I will be moving my blog to a different domain. I have already made a huge commitment to this course and myself. Last week I made a promise to my daughter that this will be our year, and she’s the one person in my life who I will never dissapoint.
As you point out we are all the masters of our own destinies.
In my humble opinion Alex, I think we as a group of students would be hard pushed to find a better teacher an motivator than we have all found in you but,we still only get out what we put into life.
There have only been a few times in my life when I’ve had a fire in my belly, at the moment Iv’e got a raging inferno going on, either that or the crate of Redbulls I had today have given me indigestion !
I don’t doubt for one moment you will reach your target for this year, in fact I’m sure you will smash it to pieces..

I know that you are not used to hearing from me, but that is because I am so very busy with my PLAN. But, I am a female and have many dependents that need me. Over the Holiday, you and the guys had extra time for some time on Twitter, etc. I, being female, had to shop for food, gifts, etc. Plan the Holiday dinner, cook and bake, write the cards, buy the gifts, wrap the gifts, send the gifts and try to have a nice Christmas for my Mom.
My Mom is 93 and last year on Dec. 12th. she was operated on and they found colon cancer. They left her with a colostomy and she really hates that bag. Because she is the age that she is, the oncologist decided that she will not make it through the double radiation treatments, chemotherapy and several surgeries throughout the last year. So, we have not done the treatments for cancer, although she has no pain, she must be cared for by Nurses that are available to work that bag for her. This costs a lot of money. I have been paying for everything with my IRA which now is almost gone after the crash and all.
I worked Michael Cheney’s Goldenthread and your Marketing course into my plan to help me make the money for Mom. Now, in order to get a Reverse Mortgage on Mom’s house, I had to have Mom sign it over to me and I applied for the Reverse Mortgage. It came through in November and this means that I must move into Mom’s house and sell my own house. The bank cannot find out that I am not moved yet, but it is so difficult when you are all alone…except for my dog, Mac – an almost 13 yr-old Cairn terrior(they’re ancestors were from Scotland. I just love this breed.) As a matter of fact, I am planning to do my video at Mom’s house, maybe about me moving there soon. I am not sure yet.
I am paying for my mortgage here – $1836/month, my insurance & taxes and Mom’s house insurance and taxes and I haven’t had a job since 1994 when I went back to school for my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling(I was a Medical Technologst)which I received in 1998, only to find out that they didn’t have anymore Internships open. Then Dad died Jan 16th 2000, my husband sued me for a divorce me in Jan 2001 and moved his girlfriend into the house my Father built for me, and then, Mom fell and dislocated her right shoulder in Dec 2001 and came to live with me. And that is the synopsis of what brought me to this point in my life.
Oh, do I have plans..many. I have enrolled in the double doctorate track in Clayton College of Natural Health so I can teach others how to avoid cancer, etc. My long term plan is to build a Wellness Center in California. To do everything that I want to do, I have signed up and taken many of Mike Filsamie’s projects. He asked if I wanted to be one of his interns and told me to call him. I signed on to Twitter to follow Mike…I enjoy his sense of humor. He also asked me to go on the Marketing Cruise, but I can’t because I cannot leave Mom. So, you see, you know me because I have plans and you find yourself on my list of plans. I need a lot of money and so I have placed myself in the line to become a millionaire, too. I may be behind, but that does not mean that you should count me out, by no means!!! You see, you thought that I had no plans because you haven’t had a chance to meet me. I am determined to get focused and start making it online. Although I have not been able to take advantage of our coaching and start driving traffic yet, I will persist and I plan to get to a $5000 per month level by July and $10000 by December. And go full time by December as well.
With a demanding job, small kids, and spouse that is not really on board with my ventures, it is a challenge, just need to get focused I believe and make some progress every day, no matter how small.

Hey Alex,
Haven’t heard from you in awhile since your coaching program started anyway. Sorry I couldn’t get in on that but funds were running a bit short.
You are only the third marketer that I’ve mentioned this to and the other two liked my idea but their plate was full right now.
Since your day planner is empty in the video you may be just the person I need to talk to.
Doing some research the other day I found a void a black hole if you will that 25 other marketers are paying for the key words for PPC but none of them had bought the domain name so, I did.
That will automatically put me #1 on Google for that search term. And with the right title tags and meta tags it will also be in the #1 position for the other spot it was designed for where other marketers are paying for the key words also but don’t have the content to hold the spot like I can.
If you are looking for some one to help out, pick me! If you are looking for a JV partner pick me! I’ve got a plan that is way bigger then I am and could really use your connections to make this a multimillion dollar site over the next year or so.
From reading your e-books I think we are a whole lot a like and we could make a mark on the Internet marketing world.
Right now I own the pie but it is still uncut and you are welcome to a small sliver or some sort of partnership if you like my idea. I’m not greedy!

One of my main interest is the video marketing niche, as you can imagine I was riveted listening to Maria Andros when you had as a guest.

Some may think my goal for 2009 is rather lofty. However, I have never been so sure of anything in my life.
I set this goal shortly before I finished Michael Cheneys class. I made a plan right after module one of your class for the whole year. I know what I am doing tomorrow, next week, next month, and the following two months. At that point I plan to evaluate, make adjustments and plan the next three months. Each quarterly planning stage will involve review of my original year long master plan.
With that said my goal is to build my business to the point where on Jan 1 2010 I will be making $20,000 per month.
In order to achieve this I feel that I must build my lists to a minimum of 5000
I need to build a membership site that is tied to my ad exchange and build a membership of 1000 @ $10 per month
I need to build my ad exchange to a membership of 3000
I need to create 2 cash cannons per month for affiliate products.
I need to promote your upcoming class and also something that Michael Cheney is doing this year.
I need to find JV and affiliate partners
I need to create several high value products to use as opt-in bait.
I need to keep writing to attract new readers to my blog.
I need to meet you and everyone else in Las Vagas this spring.
I need to meet Andrew Fox and take a ride on his yacht.
Well I may have to put that last one off till next year.

As I lsiten to Chopin after a full day, I want to increase my accountability. However, as it seems I am surfing on a big wave of change, I’m not sure where to committ. Half of my plans already have changed, and I have set up programs already to adjust. In addition 2009 started with doors wide open. One client has expanded our program, there’s another one beginning a huge project, and I need to write plus take care of present jobs.
Chopin inspires me to shoot far hire than I even imagined 3 weeks ago. I want to implement the tools I’ve recently acquired, earn $3000 mo by May 1, and invest in my business by creating a series of ebooks and monetized blog(s). Actually as soon as I start earning $$$(more) I automatically reinvest as much as I can. So I’d like to bust my preconceived limits and earn at least $100,000 online this year. I’ve been mulling many things over in my head and you’re right at times you have to be away from the office to really have things make sense. I’ve done the same as you but I’ve started writing in my diary though. In fact what I’ve done is I purchased two of them. One I treat as a “Work Book” and the other as “Log Book”. Going back to the KOTOBOT. In the work book, I have all my ideas, plans and strategies. In my log book a step by step list of what I have to do to get things done.
As I go through my Log book I’d like to make my time most efficient as possible and really key in on the things that make a difference and definitely take me closer to my objective. My approach is the same as Athlete winning his Gold medal, we discussed this in our modules and it really works for me. I imagine the lifestyle I want to live and work my way backwards to today. Now all I have to do is plan forward.
Financial goals? Within 6 months I’d like to replace my current income from work so I can tell my boss to take a ferry ride to nowhere land.
After six months and a strong head focus on my internet marketing business I’d like really work the 80/20 principle into my business plan. So I can free up time for my family and still have the financial rewards that this industry can offer.
At this point I only know one thing though. I HAVE ALOT OF HUSTLING TO DO. So? I’m on it.

I am here by a mere tendril. Let me explain (like as if you have any choice in the matter! LOL!)…
In late November 2008, I saw yet another IM email come into my account and was about to trash it along with all the others. But this one was different. It was from Mike Filsaime and he said, “This makes ME proud.” Naturally (curiousity approach), I wanted to know what made MF so proud that he would capitaise the “ME” in the subject line. I clicked on it and opened it up and started reading…
I was thinking to myself… WOW! This is different!
And it was all about you, Alex (endorsement). So, based on what Mike Filsaime said I just thought, what the heck? I paid up and here I am.
Alex, I am a cautious man. I do not give my trust easily. I have been hopelessly let down in the past and robbed of many thousands of $. But you seemed different. I could see your passion. I could tell that you weren’t an expert on everything but I like the “failing forward” concept and the KOTOBOT acronym and so many other things you do (eg 7 hour marathon webinars).
You have probably read my endorsement of you for the Twitter Shorty Awards. I’m sure you KNOW what that is all about. If not, it is something that you did for somebody that neither of us know (inits TM). You did that just on my request. Let me say Alex, that impressed me mightily. To do something like that for NO reward on your part spoke volumes to me. You are a true Web 2.0 proponent. As you know, it’s not all about money, it’s about doing the right thing by our fellow man and woman.
Anyway, I have taken onboard your advice. I have out-sourced my blog update to a person who I believe is the greatest and most capable HTML coder and expert in the world. I have gone from my old Lada Niva to a hand-built, custom made ONE-OFF Lamborghini with a high-tech, fully worked, state of the art motor. Now the Gazz-Man’s blog is a thing to be admired by everyone!
I am so proud of what my GUN coder is doing and it still isn’t finished. More weaponry is going into it tomorrow.
Am I bunging on? Maybe. But I don’t care. I’m pretty excited about all this. You see, I have negotiated a deal with my expert to do similar work for the rest of the F500 team at a reduced rate to normal prices.
So, thanks to you Alex Jeffreys and the blazing trail set by yourself, and some of the other leaders in the F500, I am gonna make 2009 the Year of the Gazz-Man. I have my plan. I have been working it in stages right from the start. I am up to stage 2 of 4. And I still have a bag of surprises to unleash.

If I reach that target within six months then I’ll raise the bar and go for more. Having you as a coach and mentor, I’m sure everyone of us is capable of reaching our goals this year, but like everything else there is much work involved.

You are an Inspiration and the kick up the A*&^ we all need and proof it can be done. Crazy when I think you started markeitng online the same time as me, but instead of doing, having a plan and being focused, I became hooked up with the Information Overload trap, reading alot, learning alot but doing nothing.

I just know 2009 is going to be the greatest year of my life. Wasn’t 2007 your greatest year, going from zero to 100,000? Finally realising that freedom that had been at the tips of your fingers for so long?
You’ve really made me believe in myself through the coaching course, and believe me, I was a little lost boy just back in November. Now I’m so organized and I have lists of things to be getting on with, and a plan is starting to form in my head.
I prefer to set some more immediate goals for now – for instance I want to have my platform fully set up and I want to drive enough qualified traffic to make at least 20-30 subscribers by the end of January.
Then I want to make enough money to cover my living expenses for one month in February.
Then I can quit my job in March! That really is the holy grail for me

I put my own personal goals up at the start of the year. I mentioned then that I would only project it for 90 days as because of the awesome and powerful strategies you are teaching us on the coaching course I can’t even begin to think where it will lead by the end of 2009!! Progress has been so rapid already that it’s blowing my mind. It’s amazing how my blog has just taken off down to me applying what you teach.

Last week I felt I was ready to put my plans on paper so I went to mindmeister.com and mapped everything I want to achive in 2009. And I can tell you that I felt much better now after all that stuff came out of my head and now is visible on the paper. It is like waking up to a clear and sunny day….
My 3 main goals for 09 are:
1. to be able to leave my full time job by the end of 2009
2. to complete my first product by 15th April 09
3. to become successful partner after coaching is over
In only 7 weeks I have started and completed more tasks than I have done in last 3 years. That makes me very confident that I will be able to reach my goals for 09.

I am one of those who are seriously lagging behind, I´m afraid, though. And it is totally my responsibility.
I admire your determination and stance, your steadfast and down to earth commitment to reach the goals you have planned in detail. Way to go, Alex!
You will again “overdeliver” in 2009 and my prediction is that you will not only reach your $1million goal, you will be closer to $2million
As to me, I have not found the time (I am retired and as the saying goes, retirees don´t have time. I can confirm this to be true!!) yet to do proper planning, but I shall have a detailed plan of attack for 2009 by the end of this month. One of the goals for me will be to reach $50,000 in profit.
The main obstacle on my way is a lack of technical knowledge ranging from how to arrange the items on my blog to how to interlink the blog with my squeeze page(s).
The other factor holding me back is my character as a loner, with a tendency to dream and be lazy.
This will have to be the first thing to attack this year – and your teaching about making a detailed plan and sticking to end without fail will help me there.
To conclude let me say thanks for your message and video once more.
Even though I am getting older, it is good to be reminded of some of the basics that tend to be forgotten when I am working on rebuilding a part of my life and set up a business to support the dream lifestyle I would like to live.

Recently I lost my job as a truck driver due to company bankruptcy and if you watched the news lately things aren’t getting better soon.
Now I have 2 options: Lay down on the cauch all day waiting till things get any better or…
see this as a new beginning for me and start working on my online business I am persuing on and off for about 4 years now.
You bet ya it will be the last option as I cannot see an improvement in the economy in the near future.
Also I don’t want to dependent anymore. I want to be my own boss!
I also sold my house lately because I wanted to buy a house that was in the family for years.
I had it up for sale for quite some time and you can guess: I was unemployed for about a week and there was… a buyer!
Now I cannot get a new mortgage for the new house as I have no steady income to show.
Lucky for me my family agreed to rent me the house till august 2009 to give me some time to find a new job or….
and that is my first goal for 2009:
Produce the numbers the bank want to see to give me a mortgage!

I’m struggling a bit to keep up with everything that needs to be done but I’m getting there. I’m seriously thinking about going the outsourcing route. I just have to figure out how to pay for it. Alex, I can’t believe the timing. I have been working feverishly for the past 30 days to put together a planner specific to setting goals and achieving them. I know after our first coaching session I sat down and tried to write my plan based on your system and got lost. So what I did was developed a 90 planner that breaks down the 90 day goals in tasks and then the tasks are broken down into months, then weeks, then days, then hours. Best of all its downloadable and FREE! The design is for ANY goal weather it be building a business or quiting smokeing or looseing weight. So last year when we got started with you, I pasted (2) $1.00 bills on my ceiling and added some ZERO’s, so now they look like $100,000 each. So when I lay down in bed at night, the last thing I see staring at me is $200,000. LOL
Sounds silly, but gives me some kind of visual.
So for 2009, I will make that my goal.
Mistakes? Yep, I made a few. I just refuse to look backwards…only forward, and I see the end now as if it already happened….working each day to get there.

My goal this year is to make $25000 – $50000.
It’s great the way other students are helping each other, and even i have helped a few set up there blogs.
I have a confession to make… I lost the plot for a few weeks befor xmas with information overload, guess what? i went back to sitting at the computer for 8 hours a day and not getting anything done, just kept flicking from one thing to another.
Then remembered the first session. Mind mapping and organization.
Now back on track and 2009 is going to be great.

I did make a yearly plan a few weeks ago and it’s pretty crude but it’s on paper so I’ve got something to shoot for in 2009. I’m glad to see you haven’t done your plan yet and mentioned you will wait probably until early February. Because I need to take the plan I have and fine tune it. I just threw it together to get something going. I heard someone say, “Just get started and do something even if it’s wrong”. I can make it right later.

I have no doubt you’ll achieve whatever you put your mind to, my friend. I planned my year and posted my first 90 day goals on my blog a week or so ago. Unfortunately, I’m already behind based on my breakdown of daily tasks.
So to answer your question about what I need help with, it’s outsourcing. There are so many places I see or hear of people using and you’ve given some, but what are the best rates for each process, where are the best places, i.e. Phillipines, elance, etc. I really need some coaching and direction on this aspect of my business. Right now, I feel like I’m drowning and it’s really impacting my productivity.

As for as my goals this year, I will replace my current JOB and become a full-time marketer. 2009 though, is going to be the year I change my Marketing “methods”. I’ll be honest, up until now I’ve been “old-school” Now it’s it time to get into the Web 2.0 stuff and drive my income up to the next level.
To do this I plan on building my lists, by using a LOT of Video Marketing and the Social Media sites.

Quick question, does using firefox as a browser make any difference to a website working with your instructions which I have followed to a tee. I have no doubts that you will break the $1,000,000 barrier this year, you will probably shatter it completely.
My target is to make at least $50,000 before the end of 2009.
I get side tracked very easily sometimes and thus don’t do all i should as quickly as i should. Thus another goal is to make a plan and stick to it.
What type face do you use on your video slides?
I am trying to make my video without much joy at present as my brain seems to switch off when i try to think about what detail to put in it. Any advice gratefully accepted.

Great video! As of right now my goal is to create a $2,500 per month business within 90 days, and repeat that every 3 months. I got this idea from Stuart Stirling which I think is a very reasonable goal.
However, I have no idea how I will do this yet. I have never been good at making a plan and sticking to it. I am trying to change. I am very serious about creating this business.
To be honest, I really really need someone to help me make a good plan for myself. I’m one of those people who don’t feel comfortable asking for help. So, I am taking a big step and asking if there is anyone out there who is willing to help me create my plan? Maybe we could chat on Skype to make things easier. The only plan I have now is to build myself a list using giveaway sites, and taking a PLR product, put my name on it as the author, and create a site where I’ll sell it from anywhere from $5-$20 and let my customers become affiliates keeping 100% of the profits. I read a great ebook by Willie Crawford on how to implement this, and I plan on doing this right now.

So what about me, well my goals for 2009 are to reach $100k, buy my S class Mercedes, and pay off my mortage. I will start to visit other students sites, I have’nt done alot of that because I’m one of those people who likes to concentrate on getting things right first, and if something distract’s me well that’s it I’m gone for the day:-)

Alex, my goal in 2009 is to convince my fiancee that internet marketing isn’t a “scam”. He’s from the UK but lives in the US now and works for the State of Arizona. Recently, he was told that all state employees may be asked to work 5 days per week and only get paid for 4 days per week. A 20% cut in pay isn’t the end of the world, but I really don’t like relying on government to know if he’ll have a career in 2 years or not!
I run two off shore internet research and SEO companies for my employer and I really love what I do! But, I also don’t earn what I feel I’m worth and I want to have another business that generates income for John and I so that we’re okay just in case something happens with either of our J.O.B.’s. I don’t want to leave the company I work for but do want more security.
So anything you can think of that I can do to help convince John that an online business won’t take up 40 more hours per week of our time and it isn’t a scam would be most appreciated.

I have given myself some initial objectives for the year but I have not settled on a an earnings figure as yet. $50,000 seems to be a reasonably achievable first year target.

I’ve been to some Marketing Seminars, purchased courses and many other products over the past few years only for them to collect dust.
This time I am absolutely committed and have been using every spare moment working on the foundations of the Blog and on implementing your teachings. Just starting out though is a major learning curve every step of the way where I constantly feel I am lagging behind. There is so much to do, but bit by bit it’s getting done. I hope my Cam arrives soon so I can start dabbling in the Video end of things.
I was very surprised the other day to find I had made my first sale and first 2 subscribers. It was a bit of a shock since funds have always exited my paypal acct. Guess I can go get that Diary now eh!
For now my goal is working toward getting content at my blog that people will find useful enough to want to bookmark and/or subscribe to my list. As long as I keep providing value in helping others and reach $5000 monthly by the end of 2009 I will be one happy Bluenoser for sure.

My goal is to at least replace unemployment before it runs out! That will be all too soon, though, and of course, I’d love to actually replace my income prior to being laid off. I’d be ecstatic to make in the high 4 figures per month. This HAS to happen by June at the latest.
I find I’m having 3 problems:
1. The usual information overload;
2. The need to create a site that actually has something useful to offer, quality items to sell, before I devote myself to trying to drive traffic to it (and then figuring out how to get the traffic for free!);
3. The conviction that trying to compete with 102 cotillion other people who are all trying to sell IM products and services is going to be a very, very tough row to hoe.
So I think I need to just get some stuff on my blog that will make some money, then throw myself into learning how to market it. Once I get the whole list building stuff down, I can start putting up blogs selling more targeted stuff.
Learning to market is the priority.
You give great tips, and I’ll be back to the membership area often to refresh. Love the motivation you provide – it really helps.
You ask what we’d like you to help us out with in 2009 – for me, I’d like to see a sample blueprint, down to the day-by-day, of what we should be doing to start list building. I get the general idea, but find I’m going off on tangents, getting distracted by promises that someone has a system that will do all the time consuming stuff for me, wasting time on things that look pretty but might not be helping earn income in the long run. A real, down-to-earth blueprint, broken down in daily activities, would be a great starting point. It’s not one size fits all, of course, but it would be the kind of instruction manual that I could really use.

Hi Alex, I know you don’t like whiner’s but I’m really struggerling to make this work at the moment. I’m very determined to carry on as my goal is to escape jobsville for ever.
But at the moment I feel totaly left behind, mainly because of the speed of your coaching programme. I think I’m about four to five weeks behind most people on your programme.
Being a father of two young toddlers I only get lhr on a weekday & maybe two or three on a weekend to do anything with this marketing stuff. I was wondering how others are managing if like me they have very little time to devote to this.
Oh Alex, how much longer B4 the coaching Mods are put into MP3 format?, really could have done with that from the start as I don’t have all day access to my PC, I could have caught up on my ipod. Sorry for the moan!

Thanks for putting the videos up. I haven’t got my plan sorted out yet but I do intend to do one when everything settles down a bit and I’ve stopped doing so much for the first time and I can actually see where I want to concentrate efforts.
Goals – (to be defined after I make the plan in Feb)
+ bring doubting spouse onboard (this will be significant)
+ create better balance between small kids : internet : rest of life (major major)
+ go to gym twice a week
= Focus on ONE aspect of business building at a time instead of trying to take on a little bit of everything and spreading myself too thinly
= build list to 2000 by end 2009
= create my first product
= oil rig hop at least 3 hours a week
= write 2 articles a month for each product I promote
= blog twice a week
= complete 5 outstanding projects from 2008 so that they can start generating revenue
= make at least one video a month (expect to increase as I get used to it)
= income $30,000 by end 2009
You ask in the video, what can I help you with? Short answer: Two things
First: hustling. I’m not a natural networker and you are. I don’t have the first idea how to find “assistants” to help on the technical side, nor how to approach guru wannabes (not gurus yet but people suffucuently ahead of me that I want to emulate them) without being seen to be “bothering” them. I struggle with the feeling that I need to be successful to get entry to the party. You obviously believe you go to the party to get successful. Networking help. How do I hustle please.
Second: How to find time to go back and “finish” half-finished projects I’ve started.

Having recently started on my tour round the blogs created by the students of the Alex Jeffreys’ coaching program, the massive potential of this great repository of information hit me like a thunderbolt. It struck me that an ebook containing the links to all these blogs with a brief summary of the contents of each would be a huge source of valuable information to the Internet community.
Each student has a unique talent and strength and has something different and powerful to contribute. I would like to create an ebook that each student may both contribute to and promote.
I have created a post on my blog called “A Tour of the Alex Jeffreys’ Student Sites”. My initial idea was to visit each site, compose a summary and post it on the blog. Having only managed to visit 10 sites so far (I only started 2 days ago) and, with the idea for the ebook only arriving in my consciousness last night, there is only one summary so far!!
Conclusion… this will take a VERY long time.
Unless….. each student heads over to my blog and enters his/her own summary of the strengths and contents of their own blogs. Please keep this summary as brief as possible – ie a maximum of 100 words.
When there are about 50 entries, I will publish the first edition of the ebook and make it available for you to promote on your own blogs. Thereafter, it will be updated as and when sufficient more material is made available.
This ebook will go viral and give massive exposure to each and every one of our blogs. I thought of the title “The Hottest New Blogs on the Web” – what do you think?

First I want to thank you for the course, it has made me start a blog, which I may have not done for sometime. I’m 100% sure you will reach your goal in 2009.
Rod, my husband and I are going full time over the next 6 months with the internet, we will see where it takes us in that time. We have the benefit of 2 of us, plus my daughter wants to help and learn along with us. We are also lucky, as Rod is the techie one, and I do the research, emails, orders, blogs, ect.
We have set a goal of $100,000 by years end. Although we haven’t set our plan yet, as we are too busy learning new things at the moment and totally overhauling our e-commerce website. I still have lots to figure out.
For anyone out there working on it part time, the biggest thing is to be consistent. That is the biggest mistake I believe we have made over the last 3 years. Keep on keeping on.
There are a few things that would be sooo helpful for all the students, get that forum going asap. That way when someone has a problem, they could post it on the forum and the ones that know the answers could help. It would also save lots of time as jumping around to different blogs, looking for the person that might help is not using time wisely.
Another thing is, if you could compile a full list of all the students and send the list to each one of us students, I only have a partial list.
The last thing is MPS format…we got very frustrated trying to download the videos, we’ve been having trouble with our internet and they take forever to download, if at all. I feel we ended up a little behind because of that.
Right now my short term goal is over the next week to go to each of the students blogs (the ones I have anyway) and just say HI. I also have to do more work on my blog today and over the weekend.

Great video, it’s like the old saying goes those who fail to plan, Plan to fail! I have a plan in place for 2009 and I am working toward my goal, Which is $500,000 US. this year.
I also want to pay off my newest toy my 2008 Lamborgini Murciélago. It was a present to myself last year, It also made me work my ass off, lol. If I can make this work anyone can, you just need to commit to it and like Alex says in the Guru’s Dream treat it like a business.

Hey Alex,
Dirk here, I finally got my housekeeping in order and launched my site and redid some of my blog, still needs work though.
But I did finally find my direction of where I want to go with my site and my blog.
I registered the domain name of my product for commitment. Now I’m in the works of the reversal process, forecast a years time to break it down to my daily routine with to do’s, while testing on the way.
Dollar Value Goal? I’m shooting for $200.00 per day and to be solid with that number in about 90 – 120 days.
I will say it again, I am going to meet ya one day, which obviously is another one of my goals as well.

I pretty sure you will break the Cool Million this year.

Thank you for posting your latest video – hope you had a great vacation.
I haven’t set my goals fully in stone yet as I been busy making videos for the competition you set and I need to do some extra thinking.
But hopefully, I will have all my planning done after I take a wonderful relaxing country lane drive, this forecoming weekend and then I will be back here to post my goals fully for 2009.

I had my video up soon after the competition started and have had success with it. I learned from you to give give and give some more.
While providing free value I have been creating my first paid product and have been failing forward fast.
It won’t be perfect but it will be the best I can do and that’s all that matters. I look forward to the rest of your mentorship program.

You will easily hit your target for 2009 – I say!
For myself I intend to make at least $100,000 this year, 2009.
Seems like lots of tech crap to sort through, but I hammer away at it cause I’ve got a huge vision!
I do have a JV concept I’m putting together I’d like to run by you and see if you would get involved with, very short on your time! And maybe some of your buds.
I’ve written a chapter in a book coming out soon that also features Brian Tracy and Jack Canfield, so that is in the mix as well – need to make all I can from that.
I must say that I feel that the greatest benefit I have derived from you at this point is your drive, attitude and ability to get what you want. It’s such a resounding,”It’s possible” message to us all. I thank you, keep it up.

I will start the whole course again from Module #1 and work it through again, and make it work this time.
I,m going to stop with all the ‘information overload’ stuff and concentrate on doing one thing at a time until I am successful with it.
I will get myself out of the rut and onto the top of the mountain by following your advice and planning for my first $100,000 year.

Wow, getting REAL help would be a nice change from the regular. For 2009 I would just love to have steady income. I think (or know actually) I am doings something absolutely wrong as it is always a hit or miss. Some months I make a little money and then nothing for the next few months and yet I am in a constant state of advertising in form or another. Just to be told what I am doing wrong would be a godsend.
Love your work and most of all, your refreshing approach. It’s great to hear someone talk honestly and openly about internet marketing. Although, the only issue is do we really need all the American hype about six figures, cars, expensive stuff. The outcome of internet business is obvious. I for one, just want to get on with it!
I like your positive style and also you do not put us down as most sellers (Geru’s) do!
I also have set my goals… $500,000 a year to start.
But, like many I have had a hard time getting my site to the profitable status…
